Recipes of mix for boilies
Boilies: recipes and ingredients
I present you here some recipes of boilies "house" which will have to be realized with fresh products and preferably with big grinds (not only of fine flours). The addition of natural products will be effective like crushed seeds, dried shrimps, dried fruits...and natural flavours (vanilla, scopex, caramel, viandox, cumin...).
In fact, the boilies are small balls of pasta where we added a binder (egg) and that we cooked for the holding.
Attention, the fresh boilies do not keep forever at room temperature, even dried!
Personally, I do not systematically add dye if ever.
But what a pleasure to have a start with its own boilies and thus to be able to change strategy according to the weather or the seasons.
I would like to draw your attention to the eggs which must be fresh and of average size (50-55gr).
Always have a little "dry" mix to add at the end of the kneading process in case the dough is a little "soft" because not all flours have the same capacity to absorb liquids.

Powdered sugar or sweetener
Although sugar and sweeteners sweeten boilies in the same way, their weight is not the same, so neither are the measurements to be used. So, if the recipe you are planning to make states that you need 100g of fine sugar, you cannot use the same amount of sweetener, as you risk sweetening twice as much.
Equivalence according to the type of sweetener:
- 100 grams of powdered sugar is equivalent to 10 grams of powdered sweetener.
- 100 grams of powdered sugar is equivalent to 20 tablets of sweetener in lozenges.
- 100 grams of powdered sugar is equivalent to 8 ml of liquid sweetener.
